INTEREST SHOWN IN PROVENCE. WE OFFER YOU A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF OUR
BACKGROUND AND SERVICES:
The Provence Trust belonging
to Ernst and Erica Ackermann bought Provence 8 years ago, and carried
on the levels of catering excellence offered for the previous 10
years. A guesthouse was added with 3 beautiful rooms offering
full board and lodging.
The small banquet hall is ideal for
small functions of 50 guests or less and specifically for conferences
or training sessions.
The main banquet hall offers seating for 230
guests in spacious beautifully decorated surroundings. A pool
area and main stoep overlooking the mountains offers breakaway areas
for guests.
Our staff component comprises a senior function
co-ordinator Erica Ackermann fully qualified chef Abe Abrahams and 5
support staff and assistant chefs. This team is motivated, friendly
and trustworthy and have functioned for 6 years with no staff
turn-over. A team of skilled waitrons is also offered.
Our
catering is of the highest standards and our reputation for such is
widely known. We are fully certified by the Dept of Health as a
catering facility (Cert attached) We also have a full Liquor
Licence for wines and malt (Cert attached) . We have been
cleared by the parliamentary inspection team giving us full security
and hygiene clearance for parliamentary functions. We have had as our
guests Mr Mbeki, Bishops Tutu and Ndugani, and several other
Ministers.
Our premises are at all times beautifully kept and
we are awarded gold status yearly by the Chamber of Commerce and
Tourism for standards of excellence.
